Types of Paint
Latex should be used on the interior and acrylic paint should be used on the exterior.
Steps in Painting
It is highly recommended for both new and old metals to prime the surface. Some primers require a certain top of topcoat. For maximum protection two finish coats should be used. Be sure to stir the paint even if it just came from the store. Read the label to make sure that the paint meets your temperature and humidity conditions. Maintain a "wet" edge to eliminate lap marks. Always bruc into the wed edge.
