Kitchen/Bathroom Colors

Lets enhance your kitchens and bathrooms!

The kitchen is the family center; decorating your kitchen can be just as much fun as any other room in your home.

Kitchen paint colors no longer have to be dull and boring; they can be bright and cheerful. Kitchen paint should reflect your personality just like with any other room color in your home.

Special Considerations

There are many paints that today are marketed as “kitchen and bath” for the fact that these rooms get lots of moisture and possibly water, heat and/or grease stains.

You want the paint finish to be easy to clean and resist stains.

You need to determine what finish you want. Kitchen paint comes in a variety of finishes. Matte, semi-gloss and gloss are your options. Again, you will want to choose the paint that has the most resistance to stains and that will wipe off easy. If you are able to easily wipe down your walls and remove the dirt and grime, it will prove to be much easier on you and you will not have to repaint your kitchen often to keep it looking clean.

Don't be afraid to make your kitchen fabulous by applying a strong shade of color. Yellows, Reds, Grays, Blues and Violets are all trendy colors for 2009.
